"Exceptional Dogs for Exceptional People"

In honor of Ascot Staffing's support of CCI, Linda Valliant named one of Canine Companion's new students, Ascot. He is a handsome male cross between a Yellow Labrador and a Golden Retriever, Born on March 27, 2004, he quickly grew to 19 pounds in just 8 weeks and is now an adult. (see below)

Canine Companions for Independence is a national nonprofit that provides a positive life altering change for people with disabilities by pairing them with highly trained assistance dogs. Click here to read how Southwest Regional Center Director Linda Valliant describes the journey of a CCI puppy.

Here is Ascot on his first day at CCI. The green you see on his ear is from the identification process, but it will disappear with his first bath. Just like a boy, getting all messy on his first day at school!
